Muscle Relaxant Injectable Consultation
PRESCRIPTION COSMETIC INJECTABLE CONSULTATION
Repetitive muscular activity contributes to the formation of dynamic rhytides and changes in facial contour over time. A comprehensive assessment of muscle function, skin integrity, and structural balance is essential prior to any intervention.
At DW Aesthetic Clinic, we provide comprehensive medical consultations to assess facial movement patterns, muscle balance, and overall structural harmony. A detailed evaluation is performed prior to considering any prescription treatment.
If clinically appropriate, treatment may be recommended to address concerns related to facial muscle activity. All prescription products require individual medical assessment and approval by a qualified prescriber.
Risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected outcomes are discussed during consultation. Results vary between individuals.
Results appear within 3–7 days, with full effect generally observed by 7–14 days. Results commonly last approximately 3–4 months, although duration varies depending on individual.
Cosmetic Injectables
What are Muscle Relaxant Injectables?
Muscle relaxant injectable treatments are discussed only after a comprehensive consultation and medical assessment. This process ensures the treatment plan is appropriate, safe, and tailored to individual facial anatomy and concerns.
Benefits
These treatments work by temporarily reducing muscle activity in targeted areas, which may help soften dynamic facial lines and support overall facial balance and harmony.
Suitable for
Clients concerned with dynamic expression lines who are seeking a medically guided approach to facial rejuvenation. Suitability is determined on an individual basis following assessment.
Why DW Aesthetic Clinic
All injectable treatments are prescribed and administered by qualified medical professionals in strict accordance with Australian medical regulations, with careful consideration of suitability, risks, and expected outcomes.

Frequently Asked Questions
What Is a Cosmetic Injectable Consultation?
A Cosmetic Injectable Consultation is a comprehensive medical assessment conducted by a qualified clinician to determine whether prescription aesthetic treatment is appropriate for you. During this appointment, your medical history is carefully reviewed, your facial anatomy and muscle activity are assessed, and your aesthetic concerns and goals are discussed in detail. If clinically suitable, a personalised treatment plan may be developed. All prescription treatments require individual assessment and approval by an authorised prescriber.
What Concerns Can Be Discussed?
During consultation, concerns related to facial movement, expression patterns, and overall facial balance may be assessed. Treatment recommendations are based on clinical findings and suitability, and not all individuals will be appropriate candidates for prescription treatment. Your clinician will explain available options, potential risks, and alternative approaches where relevant.
How Long Do Results Last?
Response to prescription aesthetic treatments varies between individuals. The onset, degree of effect, and duration cannot be guaranteed and will depend on factors such as muscle strength, metabolism, and treatment area. These details will be discussed during your consultation.
Is the Treatment Painful?
Individual comfort levels vary. The procedure is typically brief and may involve mild, temporary discomfort at the treatment site. Your clinician will discuss methods to optimise comfort where appropriate.
What Should I Expect After Treatment?
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, or minor bruising at injection sites may occur and are generally self-limiting. Post-treatment care instructions will be provided, and it is important to follow these carefully. If you experience any unexpected or concerning symptoms, you should contact the clinic or seek medical attention promptly.
